Verizon Communications Inc says company has ‘reasonable basis’ to believe Yahoo hacking could affect US$4.8-billion deal

WASHINGTON — Verizon Communications Inc said on Thursday it has a “reasonable basis” to believe Yahoo Inc’s massive data breach of email accounts represents a material impact that could allow Verizon to withdraw from its US$4.83 billion deal to buy the technology company. Tech Tip: Erasing the Past From Google Search Q. Is there a “right to be forgotten” in the United States? How do you get false or damaging personal information removed from Google search results? A.
