The Hyundai Tucson was supposed to be launched on October 24, 2016. But the launch of the premium SUV has now been postponed to November. The reason being that Hyundai was riding a wave of success with the sales of the new Elantra being way better than the expectation of the company with 1,100 bookings and 18,000 enquiries. So, in order to ensure that the waiting period on the Elantra does not become too much, Hyundai took a decision to keep the Elantra on priority and hence, the Tucson launch had to be postponed to November, after the festive period. The company is accepting bookings for the Tucson at a payment of #8377 25,000.
