2015-16 Toyota HiAce recalled for door latch fix:: 500 vehicles affected Toyota has issued a recall notice for 500 of its 2015 and 2016 HiAce LWB Crew Vans over concerns a latch system in the sliding does not meet Australian Design Rules (ADR). According to the Japanese manufacturer, the vehicles are equipped with a single latch system on the side sliding doors which does not comply with the relevant ADR legislation. The company says the latches also pose a safety hazard if the door was to unlatch whilst the vehicle is in motion.
